I combine strategic thinking with intuitive visual storytelling, creating work that is both emotionally resonant and commercially effective. My approach is grounded in clarity, collaboration, and a deep understanding of how brands connect with people.
1. Illustrated Brand Worlds
My illustration work begins with an understanding of a brand’s story, audience, and emotional landscape. I study the brand’s personality, category conventions, and visual gaps in the market to define an illustrated direction that feels both distinctive and strategically aligned.
I use illustration not as decoration, but as a brand asset, a way to humanise, differentiate, and build recognisability. This foundation ensures every illustrated element serves a purpose: storytelling, positioning, clarity, and emotional resonance.
2. Concept Development Through Illustrated Narratives
Once the direction is clear, I develop concepts using illustration to bring tone, mood, and meaning to life.
This includes:
• illustrated motifs or icons
• character or botanical elements
• texture and pattern development
• visual metaphors
• hand-drawn typography or marks
I design illustrated narratives that capture a feeling, whether grounded in artisanal craftsmanship, modern minimalism, heritage storytelling, or sensory experience.
Here, illustration becomes the core of the visual identity, influencing packaging, digital touchpoints, campaigns, and content.
3. Cohesive Illustrated Systems Across Platforms
My illustration work is designed as a scalable system, not a one-off. I create cohesive illustrated assets that can flex across print, packaging, digital, environmental graphics, and social content.
This includes building:
• illustrated icon sets
• brand-specific motifs
• repeatable patterns or borders
• illustration-led packaging systems
• social templates incorporating illustrated elements
• campaign illustration frameworks
This approach ensures the brand retains a strong visual signature across all channels, instantly recognisable and consistently applied.
